Croatia Lacrosse National Team last week competed in European Lacrosse Qualifiers for the 2023 World Cup in San Diego, and finished fourth in Group B. After starting the qualifiers with a 7:5 win over Hungary, the team was humbled by a 9:1 defeat to Austria. A 14:7 win against Slovenia got things back on track; however, an 8:7 and 12:7 defeat to Switzerland and Italy respectively kept Croatia just shy of securing the spot in San Diego. Nonetheless, the foundations are set and there’s a lot of lacrosse, as well as success, waiting for the team. Iznad svih, Hrvatska!
